Sofia the First is everywhere! Today I got to make my first small Sofia collection and I loved it! She is the cutest little princess and a perfect theme for a little girls birthday.
For the cookie collection I made three shapes- the Sofia logo, a plaque with the number 2 and Sofia's crown with the birthday girls name under it. I also found the idea for these adorable little Sofia pops online. I made the dresses out of chocolate truffle and cut the body out to fit right on top of the stick. This is a great way to incorporate characters into a themed party!
Happy 2nd Birthday Valerie!
Iris & Berlais are getting married and they had to have something sweet for their celebration! They decided to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and some fun dinner and dancing to follow. At the restaurant there was a nice table set up to feature the tiered cake and cupcakes and the fuschia candy bar - awesome credit to my future sistaass Christina and Bianca ;-) Fuschia brought a beautiful pop of color to the restaurant and to all of the desserts.
Pro: Sweets were perfect for grab and go! We even had adorable little heart boxes to pack up your cupcake for the ride home!
Con: I stuffed my face with scoops of jellybeans all night while no one was looking. Thanks candy bar.
The wedding turned out to be beautiful for two of my favorite people.
Best wishes for Iris & Berlais!
He is from England.. she is from the USA. What better way to show off both than with their own cookie!
These cookies are iced with royal icing and hand painted to resemble each flag. The stars on the American flag are small white decorative sprinkles -snowflake sprinkles to be exact :-)
Even though the shower is usually all about "her", I think it is fair to say that the groom can have a little something that represents him too!
