A classic cake for a classic theme! Melissa loved the little mickey feet and traditional red, yellow and black colors for her sons first birthday cake. This three tier cake is topped off with fondant Mickey ears and a bubbly "1" year old topper! The smash cake was made to coordinate in buttercream of course!
Happy Birthday Carter!
I really enjoyed creating this dessert table for Alexys on her first birthday! Little ballerina is the sweetest theme for any little girl. Below you can see the steps I took to create my first gumpaste ballet shoe topper. This was my favorite part!! I used bows, slippers, gold pearls and metallic details to accent all of the sweets!
Happy Birthday Alexys!
My lovely friends asked if I could re-create a smash cake that they found for their sons 1st birthday photoshoot- and here it is! I love that it is so simple and classic. You don't need much when you have the cake sitting next to the cutest baby in the world!!!
Happy Birthday Max!!!
Vanessa asked if I could make her baby girl a small smash cake for her first birthday party. We left the cake white so it was free of any food coloring and dyes-- and added pops of purple and teal to the shell decorations surrounding it! The mermaid topper was purchased from Etsy and given to me by my customer! Adorable!
Happy Birthday Rachael!
Mikey turned one year old and his parents threw him an amazing party all about clouds and classic hot air balloons. The color scheme was red, white, sky blue and dark blue. For this party I created a smash cake for Mikey with a custom topper made out of rice treats and fondant. All of the party styling and set up was done by Kimberly Paige Events!
Happy Birthday Mikey!
