This Christmas I experimented with "paint your own cookie" designs! This concept was one that a lot of my cookie friends were posting and I thought I would give a try. They are super adorable and super fun to give to the kids to pay with and then eat! The light bulb cookie that I made is the palette in which you can add a dab of water and grab color from to decorate your cookies in any which way!
My last post of 2016 and probably one of my favorite posts!!! I am obsessed with giving milk and cookies to Santa.. even at 27 years old. So I had some extra dough and decided to make a few tins of cookies and milk for parents to give their little ones on Christmas Eve. No better way to have an extra little bit of fun with your kids. Best of all- the "Santa's" get to taste them too!
Christmas is here again! My favorite time of the year. Annndd the best time to give out and eat some special Christmas cookies! These cookies were made for two sisters- Bella and Adalyn- in honor of Adalyn's first Christmas! Just a perfect little collection of Christmas fun!
Merry Christmas to all!!
Debbie wanted me to make a collection of fun Christmas cookies that she could share with her family and grandchildren through the holiday! I decided to make a large group of about 12 different iconic Christmas shapes- incorporating the grandchildren's names to customize their own cookies! This was my first set of true Christmas oriented cookies and it was such a fun collection to make!
Merry Christmas to all!
Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer....
Gingerbread is always a must for cookies during Christmas. this year I saw an adorable gingerbread man transform into a reindeer. This is such a fun way to use your gingerbread man cookie cutter and play with shape to create a cute design. I decided to make every reindeer Rudolf, since that red nose is just adorable, but you can of course make some with a brown nose.
I also had my real life elf help me with these cookies--my BEAUTIFUL sister Jill. Just so you all know, she is many things--smart, pretty, organized, even tempered...but she has zero patience for baking. Thank you Jill for rolling out ONE cookie AND for piping some antlers...the quality time spent together is what matters on Christmas...right??? xoxo
