I just got married this past weekend to the best man ever!!! Even though I did not make my own wedding cake, I DID have to make a groom's cake for my husband. He just got promoted to investigator at his job and I thought it would be really cool to make a cake in the shape of his new badge with badge number! I surprised him with this [larger than it should have been] groom's cake! Check that New Jersey State Seal out!!!
Happy 31st Birthday to my sister!!! I made this upside down ice cream cone drip cake for Jill because everyone needs some cake on their day! Filled with pistacchio filling, this cake is surrounded by snickers, twix, sprinkles, peanut butter cups and pink wafers!
Happy Birthday Jill!!!
It’s my nephew’s 1st birthday!! He is all about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and this year I made a dessert table full of fun sweets for all of the kids to go crazy over! Using classic primary colors and simple images, I coordinated each sweet to scream Mickey Mouse!
Happy Birthday Kaiden!
Just my favorite little character ever-- EEYORE!!! I was so excited to work on this cake and make this Eeyore fondant figure to sit as the topper. The baby pinks, purples and florals make this the perfect cake to welcome little Hailey Grace!
There's not much more that a kid would love than getting the chance to eat his own favorite gaming system! So I made this XBOX system with controller for Caleb to enjoy on his big day. He also requested some Minecraft cookies for which I had edible images created to perfect the pixelated look!
Happy Birthday Caleb!
Pretty much one of my favorite cakes to date! I love that you can turn such a classic theme into a sweet cake. I absolutely loved carving out the little teddy bear heads and adding texture for their fur! This simple quilted design allows you to keep the elegant look of a 3 tier cake while giving you a platform to have fun with. I also loved this customers color scheme of teal, white and touches of metallic gold!
It is Eva's first birthday and her Baptism day! We are celebrating double time for her and making double the treats for her guests. This party had a beautiful custom cake that was inspired by an image sent by my customer. Unfortunately I do not have the source to name! The floral gum paste topper was my first attempt and I love the way i turned out!
I also make a collection of cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, strawberries and pretzels to coordinate with Eva's sweet pink and gold theme.
I loved making this unique little cake to celebrate such a special Grandpa! Vanessa asked me to make a cake to show off her daughters "Super Grandpa". She wanted to make sure he had muscles and was holding onto his two little granddaughters!
Pink, Minnie ears, and lots of ruffles and polka dots for Rachael's birthday smash cake!
Happy Birthday Rachael!
My beautiful mom turned 60 this year and my sister and I threw her a small surprise birthday party with some of her closest family and friends. We made some pretty purple, gold and white glittered sweets to pass around to her guests-- a little "adult" smash cake, chocolate covered Oreos, cake pops and decorated pretzels.
Happy 60th Birthday Mom!
It was an honor to make the cake and desserts for my friend Cathy's soon-to-be baby boy! Cathy wanted the soft blue colors with accents of metallic gold and small touches of red throughout! I kept the cake bottom tier with clean lines and was inspired by the waves at sea for the top tier!
It was nice to take a break from the gold and create this elegant silver and white Communion cake and cupcakes for a brother and sister. The classic quilting detail and simple ribbon cross topper make this cake so delicate, sweet and elegant for a special day.
Congratulations Diego and Mia!
I have always been obsessed with ladybugs and now I got to make my first ladybug cake for my cousin! Mia turned 1 year old and she was dressed as the cutest little bug for her birthday party. I made a cake that resembled the wooden signage at Mia's dessert table.
Happy Birthday Mia!!!
Juliana's first birthday was full of amazing spring flowers, fresh grass and of course fun desserts to go with it! I created a dessert table with a four layer pink ombre cake, tulip and flower head cookie pops, floral cake pops and "grass" cupcakes. I love how bright and full of life this theme is for a little girl!
Happy Birthday Juliana!
A classic cake for a classic theme! Melissa loved the little mickey feet and traditional red, yellow and black colors for her sons first birthday cake. This three tier cake is topped off with fondant Mickey ears and a bubbly "1" year old topper! The smash cake was made to coordinate in buttercream of course!
Happy Birthday Carter!
I really enjoyed creating this dessert table for Alexys on her first birthday! Little ballerina is the sweetest theme for any little girl. Below you can see the steps I took to create my first gumpaste ballet shoe topper. This was my favorite part!! I used bows, slippers, gold pearls and metallic details to accent all of the sweets!
Happy Birthday Alexys!
Seriously... how sweet is this!
Minnie is the perfect, classic theme for a 1st birthday party and I made a cake for Brielle that is as sweet as her! The fondant ruffle detail and adorable pink bows make this cake the best table centerpiece!
Happy Birthday Brielle!
What better way to celebrate than with Costa Rica, soccer, your favorite beer and an awesome cake! I absolutely loved making this one! The hand painted Imperial logo and soccer ball cake were my favorite touches!
Happy Birthday Ferney!
My lovely friends asked if I could re-create a smash cake that they found for their sons 1st birthday photoshoot- and here it is! I love that it is so simple and classic. You don't need much when you have the cake sitting next to the cutest baby in the world!!!
Happy Birthday Max!!!
Pretty crazy about my Lily Pulitzer inspired cake and cookies for Kelly's bridal shower! Her family threw her a unique and awesome shower with quirky patterns, pop colors and sophisticated swirls. The buttercream cake was simply white with lots of texture and a perfect gold pineapple cake topper! For the cookies, i created all different kinds of shift dresses inspired by Lily patterns that I love!
I had a request from Lisette to make her niece-to-be a baby shower jungle cake--- with purple of course! This cake was a challenge for me but I thought it turned out great! I kept the bottom tier simple with a light purple zebra pattern and then added leaves and animals peeking out on the top tier, a cute baby elephant made out of rice treats sat on top of it all!
I had so much fun making this beautiful set of cookies and cake for Vanessa's husband Nik! It is Thanksgiving week- and no better time to celebrate the birthday of a wonderful husband and father! This collection was based around beautiful falling leaves, gold accents and of course the family of three PLUS baby on the way!
Happy Birthday Nik!
