Pretty crazy about my Lily Pulitzer inspired cake and cookies for Kelly's bridal shower! Her family threw her a unique and awesome shower with quirky patterns, pop colors and sophisticated swirls. The buttercream cake was simply white with lots of texture and a perfect gold pineapple cake topper! For the cookies, i created all different kinds of shift dresses inspired by Lily patterns that I love!
I am engaged! and of course, I had to include some special cookies into my "Ask" boxes. I am having my sister as my Maid of Honor, and my cousin Julie as my only Bridesmaid. Simple and sweet! I created a box of "treasures" for both of them including things throughout our lives that were great memories. At the bottom of the box, I made four cookies for each of them. Two cookies with our edible images of them from when we were young and the present time. And a beautifully simple dress and engagement ring to compliment them. I absolutely love anything personalized, and can't wait to share my big day with them!!!
Gale is throwing her daughter the sweetest bridal shower- featuring everything on the sand. The colors used for this shower are coral, turquoise, white and touches of gold. I made shell cookie favors with some cute little seahorses in the color scheme. I also made some chocolate covered cake pops, pretzels and Oreos for the day. I absolutely love how delicate and beautiful the Oreos came out! One of my favorites!
Maria and Paul are tying the knot! Maria's bridal shower was complete with these nautical cookie favors. Simply round with gold ring detail and their wedding date!
A great way to say thank you to your guests for joining in on your shower day!
I also had the pleasure of making Maria a beautiful pull-apart wedding dress cake. The cake is made with the bridesmaid colors of berry and white!
Congratulations Maria and Paul!
A perfect favor to spring into summer at a beautiful bridal shower. This collection of cookies would make a delicate, memorable take home gift at any shower or event. The tonal coral and turquoise colors bring some fun into the shells and the crushed cookie "sand" in each bag just adds the perfect touch.
Devin and Lyle are getting married and they are incorporating beautiful rustic elements into their big day. Devin's awesome bridal party is throwing her a shower this weekend filled with mums, fall colors and of course mason jars.
For the treats, I created classic mason jar cookies with fondant flower accents in the colors of Devin's wedding. Burnt orange and deep purple! the mason jars read "D & L" with the date of the shower. The cupcakes compliment the cookies with similar floral decorations and a simple vanilla buttercream!
Congratulations Devin and Lyle!
Iris & Berlais are getting married and they had to have something sweet for their celebration! They decided to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and some fun dinner and dancing to follow. At the restaurant there was a nice table set up to feature the tiered cake and cupcakes and the fuschia candy bar - awesome credit to my future sistaass Christina and Bianca ;-) Fuschia brought a beautiful pop of color to the restaurant and to all of the desserts.
Pro: Sweets were perfect for grab and go! We even had adorable little heart boxes to pack up your cupcake for the ride home!
Con: I stuffed my face with scoops of jellybeans all night while no one was looking. Thanks candy bar.
The wedding turned out to be beautiful for two of my favorite people.
Best wishes for Iris & Berlais!
He is from England.. she is from the USA. What better way to show off both than with their own cookie!
These cookies are iced with royal icing and hand painted to resemble each flag. The stars on the American flag are small white decorative sprinkles -snowflake sprinkles to be exact :-)
Even though the shower is usually all about "her", I think it is fair to say that the groom can have a little something that represents him too!
Congratulations Joey and Al!
YES Joey!- your name is first! But I had to mention Al too :-)
Today was Joey's bridal shower and it was put together beautifully with sweet and romantic details.
Joey's sister chose to have a light pink, white and gold color theme to decorate the cupcakes and the party space. The fondant styled cupcakes were a first for me, but they turned out to be ones that I can't wait to make again! 3 different colors, 3 different styles for the ONE and only Joey!
Hi, I'm Jaclyn
I love bright colors, fun decorations, and anything sweet! This is a documentation of my journey through baking.
