Vianca's family is welcoming her into the world with some special sweets on her baby shower day! I love this collection of sweet, dainty cookies and pops for Vianca. I especially love the family cookie with mom, dad and babys' name. These truffle pops are coated in chocolate and metallic gold to pull the collection together.
I had a request from Lisette to make her niece-to-be a baby shower jungle cake--- with purple of course! This cake was a challenge for me but I thought it turned out great! I kept the bottom tier simple with a light purple zebra pattern and then added leaves and animals peeking out on the top tier, a cute baby elephant made out of rice treats sat on top of it all!
Tessy and Jon celebrated their adorable little girls birthday in pink and gold everything! Nothing screams baby girl like blush pink with touches of gold and metallic glitter. I made some chocolate covered oreos with star details and twinkling pink truffle pops with gold bows on top!
Happy 1st Birthday Isabel!!
I am obsessed with this baby shower theme that Nicole chose for her little girl! Her bedroom will be vintage mermaids and she asked if I could incorporate wood, ships wheels, anchors and mermaids into her cookies for her baby shower. Her colors are coral, mint and touches of gold!
My adorable Goddaughter, Aliza Emmy, turned ONE. I cant believe a year flew by this fast! Her mom and dad threw her an amazing Fairy Tale party including all of the Disney themes. The theme carried on through the costumes, guests, food and of course the sweets!
I made Aliza a group of special cookies for her day, consisting of 1-3 iconic images from each of the fairy tales. It was so fun to review all of the things I loved when I was her age and make them come alive in a cookie!
Happy Birthday to my little Aliza Emmy!
London Elle had her special Christening day this past weekend and she celebrated with some beautiful sweets! I took inspiration from the grey, yellow and white invitations that were sent out, and created a group of desserts that were perfect for a baby girl. All of the classic elements of a Christening were included in a beautiful way and the Bible cake brought an elegant touch to the party!
Congratulations London Elle!
Though many people love to stay safe and traditional with Communion colors, Avery's mom had the right idea by adding the pop of black into her cake! The black details really stand out and lend a sophisticated look for a beautiful young girl.
Avery's cake was vanilla with strawberry buttercream filling, covered in fondant details and black, pink and white molded decorations.
The perfect collection of communion cookies for any girly girl! Classic pink and purples work in with soft white to create a beautiful yet simplistic group of cookies. I love adding pearl details and white sanding sugar to complete the looks! Gia was able to give out beautiful cookie favors on her special day and enjoy them herself!
Lilianna will be here shortly and we are welcoming her with a baby shower that is just as sweet as she will be! This party was based on these simple colors- white, black, baby pink and rose pink. The colors lend a sophisticated feel to the shower but still allow for the sweet touches to recognize the new baby girl.
My cookie collection for this project was inspired 100% BY "YOU CAN CALL ME SWEETIE". She is a fantastic cookie artist with amazing detail and talent. I was asked to mimic her cookie collection, as it had the same feel that the customer was targeting. This cookie collection has ruffled 3D fondant details, airbrushing and wet-on-wet mini rose details.
For the cake, I used the beautiful black and white stripe and ruffled fondant detail to inspire the decorations. For both cookies and cake, I added small pink and white ladybugs as a sentimental detail for the mother-to-be. These small details add something special and personal to the sweets
for a very important day.
Excited for baby Lilianna!
Today is Claudia's birthday and she is celebrating while doing one of her favorite activities- gymnastics! The party will be so much fun for both boys and girls and Claudia wanted to have some favors that would be nice for everyone to take home. Simple chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with flower details in her favorite colors were made to eat at the party. The favors were anchor and whale cookies in teal and grey for the boys and fuchsia and teal for the girls.
Happy Birthday Claudia!
These cupcakes were made based on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. My favorite to make was the clubhouse of course! I had to fit in all of the characters for Shar-Ron's second birthday-- mickey, minnie, goofy, pluto, daffy and daisy-- All in the classic clubhouse colors. Such a great theme to incorporate every kids favorite character! Toppers give everyone something fun to fight over :-)
Arianny is turning TWO this month and her mother put together the most adorable and fun FROZEN party to celebrate! There were just so many cute details, desserts and decorations to look at throughout the house! I was asked if I could create an Olaf pull-apart cake for the kids to eat and have fun with.. and of course I said yes. Major lesson learned during this one... do not lean your cupcake board against the edge of the table... NO, it is not stable enough. and YES the cupcakes will all kiss the floor. Which they did. So I rushed to make a new cake that morning.. but little Olaf still came out cute :-)
Happy Birthday little Ari!
I definitely had some fun here learning all the characters from Nick Jr.'s most popular shows! Brielle is just the sweetest little girl and today she is two years old. Instead of figuring out one theme, her mother decided to represent all of her favorite shows with faces of the characters that she just loves. My favorite group are the Bubble Guppies- they are so adorable and I am crazy about that
blonde curly fondant hair!
Happy Birthday Brielle!
Abigail is turning ONE! Here I created a small collection of cookies to celebrate her first birthday. Butterflies are basic shapes but they can be turned into such playful and beautiful cookies. A simple collection of pink and purple for a beautiful little girl!
Happy Birthday Abigail!
Ella and Harper are little sisters and naturally, they are having a fun FROZEN birthday party to celebrate both their first and third birthdays! This collection came out better than I expected and I want to do it all over again! I have to admit that I am guilty---I still have NOT seen Frozen and I do not even know much about the movie. What I do know is that young and old, the world is obsessing over it! I will watch it-- but for now I will just have "Do you want to build a snowmannn.." playing in my head.
Nothing better than a mix of airbrushing, glitter, sparkles, and snowflakes!
Wishing Ella and Harper a magical birthday :-)
